• Large front panel for additional organizationReview:First of all, let me say this is a great bag. However, I believe that clarification should be made about the measurements. There is a difference in how the airlines measure your bag, and how American Tourister measures it. The airlines measure the outside of the bag...and in particular, the depth of this type of bag is deeper than stated because the airlines include those pouches on the front. This makes the measurement of the 29" upright to be 29 x 21 x 14.5. This brings the total to 64.5".......2.5" over the 62" allowed on the airlines. I really loved the bag but would have had to pay $175 for an "oversized" bag. Now, the way American Tourister measures their bags is on the INSIDE. They don't count the pouches on the front; just the inside of the main compartment. So, sadly, I had to return the bag. BUT, I ordered the next smallest bag offered by both American Tourister and Amazon and this bag is only 25" upright, making it well within the 62" limit allowed on airlines. I am sure that bag will be every bit as good as this very large bag is.....and let me tell you the 29" upright IS HUGE! I have a 60 pound Brittany that would fit inside that bag perfectly with room to spare. No, I did not stuff my dog inside the suitcase to test it. He was standing right next to it and I could see just by looking at him that he would easily fit inside. I also read in another review of this bag that the reviewer stated she is 5'11" weighing somewhat over 100 pounds...and she was able to fit inside the bag except for her head. This will give you an idea just how very large the 29" upright is. But, it will be too large for the two airlines I will be taking...which is US AIR and UNITED. I don't know what the other airlines allow.
  Amazon has a very generous return policy as well. Not only that, but their representatives are extremely kind, very helpful, and courteous. I asked for a postage paid return label to return the bag. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely helpful and he sent me the return label via my email as we spoke...making it possible for me to repackage the bag, and drop it off at UPS the same day. This makes dealing with Amazon a wonderful experience all around.....especially when you call Customer Service and are always greeted by really warm, and courteous representatives.

I actually bought this case to use for my art supplies. I'm a watercolorist and like to get together with friends and paint. That requires hauling a lot of stuff and this case is perfect for that. Loads of compartments to separate all the bits and pieces. The wheels work well as does the handle. My only complaint and it was a real disappointment, is the quality of the covering. After using it only two or three times, I noticed that the fabric on the back side that rubs against the stairs had a small hole in it and some considerable abrasion. This was after only a three or four uses. I can't imagine what would happen to it in an airport baggage handling situation as those machines aren't exactly easy on luggage. I still like my bag but wish the fabric were more durable.

love this case, especially the lightness of it! As everyone knows, weight is a problem nowadays; so to have a case this lightweight is an added bonus!. Wish I had it the past times that I had to pay overweight charges! I would definitely recommend this 25" piece for extended stays. It held much more than I expected it to, almost as much as my 29" case.

Review:Every year my husband complains about me buying a new bag. I've been searching for the perfect piece of luggage for years, and I believe I've finally found it.

I am an overweight woman, and as an overweight woman, my clothes need more material therefore taking up more space in a bag than a thin person. I mention this because I was able to fit one week's worth of clothing in this bag wearing something different everyday. I didn't have to enlist my children to sit on the bag so that I could zip it up.

I purchased a best carry on luggage to place on top of my clothes. I also packed my nook, camera, phone, and needed wires to plug these items in. All fit inside. I didn't use the roomy, outside pockets on the trip up as I didn't need them. However, on the return home, I used the outside pockets to pack souvenirs. This caused the bag to topple over, so I leaned it against the wall when needed. I don't think I'd place my laptop in one of these for fear of it getting damaged should the bag get knocked over.

The inside has two large pockets; both zippered, one mesh. I placed three pairs of shoes in the lower pocket, and various odds and ends in the top pocket.

The wheels are smooth which make the bag easy to push. There are two handles, one on top and one on the side for easy handling when picking it up. The bag got a bit dirty from its plane ride, but the dirt wiped right off.

I am so happy with this bag, that I'm going to purchase a second one and store it. That way, when this one gives out, I'll have its replacement ready to go.
